    This past week we became familiar with online web design and became more familiar with these platforms, one for example is Weebly. I at first had some technical issues when using Weebly on my personal computer however, eventually, we were able to solve this problem. I think teachers would really enjoy utilizing this in their classroom; similar to me, they may have technical problems which could be an issue especially if you have a lot of students or those who aren't familiar with technology. But I think it was a really great resource and a fun one for teachers to use in their classrooms. Furthermore, the two design principles that I used were CRAP principles as I was designing my website, and I also made sure my website was easy to read but also fun and creative! I included many pictures and subheadings, titles, etc.!      As we start to close in on the semester, for our blog post of this week we were assigned to talk about our experiences in EME2040; Likes, dislikes etc. Prior to this class I never had any intention of becoming a teacher; I am a public health major and so my interests have always been around nursing or medicine. However, I loved learning about all of the different educational tools, and internet skills; we not only learned and focused on how these things are utilized in the classroom, but also for anyone in any profession or personal use! Blog Journal 2

      Applications such as Microsoft Word has been a great tool for me as a student; not only in my current college years, but also throughout my earlier years of school and out of the classroom! Programs such as Microsoft word and google docs allows users to create documents, tables, graphs etc. I have pretty good experience on these programs, especially google docs. However, I definitely do feel there is a large amount of tricks or tools within Microsoft word that I can't wait to hopefully continue to learn and with the information we will learn from this course!      In addition to this, this week we were asked to review the ISTE Standards for Educators. The ISTE Standards provide a framework to empower students and for them to become leaders.
